Holiday 2- Prepared!

Ok, so maybe Im just a little bit used to been moddy coddled by Richard when it has come to going on holiday the last few times... I was only aware that one had to fill ones case with clothes and beauty products... However , I have been alerted to various necessities to my holiday that I seem to have let "slip" my mind... I mean, what is this "travel insurance" that I am hearing people speak of!? I kinda knew I needed it... I have maybe been asked by Jasey if Id booked it 1010 times, but I just didnt seem to get around to it..(could not be arsed as £10.00 is a severe dent in ones bank balance when balance stands at zero..) However, realising today that I could end up been hit by a car while in Spain (If Matt has anything to do with it) and would possibly have to let my leg dangle on by a thread with no travel insurance, I have conquered all and booked it online (with 0.0005% discount code from bitchette de la bitch) I also booked parking (Again, Bitchette managed to sort this out with 50% discount... well done... employee of the year coming up!) So am quite please that I have finally got the whole sorry scenario out of the way. Now Im just needing some money that is legal tender in Spain.. Many arguments arise as to how I should take this... Travellers cheques? Euros... Pounds?!... Yen!?! After some pondering Ive decided that Im just going to log on to www.postoffice.co.uk and tell them to "Quote me happy!" Not sure if Ill get a response waffling away to my monitor but It seems to work on the adverts! So all that remains is to buy a few toiletries, fill my case, and live through the 2.5 hours on the aeroplane! (could be a tricky one, that!) Im getting quite excited about it now though.. Should be fun! (unless of course we end up in some back street grotty shit hole that has a man named Bub who serves our drinks and cleans the glasses with flem...) *shudders* Sure it will be fine!

Sugar babes, Beverley Knight and Take That all took part in concert in manchester city stadium.. It was an alright day.. Kind of pleasure pain as we had to stand up for around 9 hours and I couldnt feel my feet by the end of the day!

I was actually surprised to find that people still look on this to see if I have updated. Generally people get peed off after a week or so of no entries... So to all of my fans, I love you all... All 3 of you!!

Ive been feeling ever so funny the last week or so... And we are not talking Muahahah, Rahahahah, or Hehehehe either... Funny as in.. weird, bizarro, not quite here..... nor there nor anywhere...Just weird! Need to get my head from up my arse I think!!

Got the biggest spot ever on the bridge of my nose... Its one of those that REALLY hurts and he soooooo wont squeeze!! Ive named him Scott the spot. I shall let u know how he progresses over the coming days! :-)

I never added even half of the photos from my holiday so I shall try to make that a bit of a priority over the next week or so! xx

Its been a while...

Its been long... Too long... but enough about my widge... So much has happened since I last wrote that I cant even begin to start waffling about it... I have been off work for a while but have been back in a couple of days this week and am feeling better already...What with all the *lovely* customers and the fact that they are *so patient* with me and not in the least bit *demanding*.. Its making life a real breeze *cough cough*!! Im even getting my sense of humour back... You dont believe me? *points and laughs at one legged man trying to pick a penny off the floor..* U see, I rest my case! I go on holiday to Costa Dorada in just over a week (8 weeks) and Im starting to look forward to it now... How posh am I? Right little sun queen! However, sun beds are needed over the next week as I am beginning to look as if Im knocking on heavens door again at the moment! Im also getting a bit porky and couldnt give a monkies...

Jaya is growing up so quick.. She is going through the "My mum is my siamese twin"phase at the moment whereby Bev cannot go for a piss in peace without sitting her on her knee! She also seems to have developed a "I hate my granny" phase too... This is much better than the much dreaded "Uncle Adie is a dirty gay" phase which im expecting of her around the age of 10-15 where by when I drive past and wave she tells her friends she hasnt a clue who the man man in the pink vest top is. Anyway, I think the Granny Grunt Kazduck hate campaign is a little more justified as it may have something to do with gran ma ma trying to inflict some discipline on her and demonstrating to all that will listen what happens if you put her on my sisters knee (giggles)... then take her off again (screams)... and put her on again (quiet)... and take her off again (louder screams)... and on... and on... I dread to think what she was like with her own kids! Its a good job I cant bloody remember!

Anyway, Promise to write again soon and give a more detailed account of my life on a day to day basis.. very posh that!

Im back.. I managed to live through both flights and tell the tale... Was a really good holiday but best just adding photos as days go on.. So u will ALLLLL have something to look forward to! U should be warned now that there was a certain feature in the hotel (a very long lamp!!) that I absolutely loved... It also prompted me to take about 347 photos of the bloody thing.. so beware!! Hotel was 5* through and through... accomodation was lovely, food was even better (and we know how I loves me food!!)

Just seen my big lil sister, Quin and me little Jay Jay... Love em coming to visit me! Bought em a few bits from wollyday which they seemed pleased with... Must admit even though I had a FABULOUS hol, I did miss all of ya!!!

I go on holiday in around 7 hours now... We are flying from heathrow airport. A little worried but not as bad as I have been before at the moment!

Dont miss me too much while Im gone.. I know its easier said than done babies... But even Santa needs a holiday now and again! :-)

A week to go for hols!

Morning!
Just so everyone knows, in Muscat at the moment, it is 40 degrees... and the last temperature was taken at 9am... Thats quite warm isnt it?! Me and Richard went shopping the other day in preperation for fryment and bought quite a few clothes/toiletries (factor 15 is the lowest sun creme we have bought!) etc... Unfortunately, Ive already worn one of my new tops now.. Im not proud!! :-(

So we only have 4 working days left before I have a whole 2 weeks off work... And, as long as I dont crash and burn on the aeroplane, (Eek!) Im thinking that it should be absolutely brillo pads! :-)

Finally had a new phone from Donna Donut at Vodafone. Unlimited texts and 200 anytime minutes for 30 quid a month.. Means I should save about 30 pound altogether.. Also ended up with a Samsung Z540 which Im quite chuffed with. It should last me at least a year I reckon!

Going to Birmingham this Saturday to see Jasey hopefully! Going to do some last minute shopping although I think I spent the money for my budget this weekend... on nothing but food... Which is why I am on a diet this week.... And hoping to lose at least half a stone.... Let starvation commence!! With the pricing for food in Muscat, Im probably more likely to starve myself there!

JAYZUS!!!!

As Richard pointed out last night.. I was wrong about me no longer been obsessed with mobile phones... Im worse than Ive ever been.. EVER... Its getting quite ridiculous.. Im living, dreaming and eating them...hmmm?! The fact of it is, there is NOT the perfect mobile out there... We have 3 possibilities:-

Sony Ericsson W810i :- Very good if you need an MP3 player. (I dont... I have one) 2 megapixel camera which is good.. Not a brilliant quality screen on there and video quality is not good on there. No 3G. Only other Ericsson phone I had I kept for nearly a year... though that was about 4 years ago and it was not even a colour one...Can get this on T mobile for £36.00 a month for 1600 texts, 400 minutes and 30 media messages (the joys of t mobile flext!) 18 month contract though :-(

Samsung Z540:- Very thin sleek thin flip phone (dont usually like flip phones) and seems to be the next great samsung in line... 3G phone... Errr... 1.3 Megapixel camera... looks half decent.. But Ive had 3 samsungs and given them all away within weeks of having them... Only on contract with Vodafone at the moment and dont think they can offer 1000 texts a month within an affordable budget... 12 month contract though! :-)

Nokia N80:- Due to be released sometime this month. 3.0 megapixel camera, better resolution screen than any before it, better applications etc... This phone sounds better than any of the above but it looks quite a bit like the one I have got at the moment so I dont know whether it will be very boring very quickly... May hold out just to see though!

Ohhh.. I really ought to get a pissing hobby...

Am going shopping tonight to get some clothes for on my holiday,,, got meself a bit of a list going on.. Need to stock up on shorts... This morning at 9am their time, it was 39 degrees in Muscat.. Thats WARM!!!

I have been browsing for a new contract for the last few weeks/months and it seems that by far the best contract on the market at the moment is the one offered by THREE. Richard grabbed a deal with them and from the outside looking in the deal is brilliant.. 1000 free texts, 300 free minutes, £5.00 worth of downloads and free roaming, and to top it off, a rather nice phone to go with it all on a 12 month contract! But do not be fooled (whoah no!) as at least 3 times a week, there are severe problems with the network that means you will be unable to make any calls or send/receive text messages. I applied for a contract (why oh why!?) and luckily their inability to provide their customers with a half decent service from day one has meant that i am not going to bother with them now! (phone was due here today but Ive never heard anything off them!) Dont "really" know why I applied for a contract in the first place to be honest... Its like been given what looks like a sugar bon bon only to put it in your mouth to find it is covered in salt! Oh how that feeling is so familiar...

The point of this blog is that I need a new phone and there are a few alternative contracts that look quite attractive but the phones on them are not brilliant ANNND they are 18 month contracts (forever!).. I have realised though that i dont seem to be so fussy re phones anymore.. If I get totally sick of it, I can always get another one at some point anyway sim free! Im just bored with nokias! (though they do seem to be the higher class of phone around!) The only question left is whether to go direct with someone like T mobile and get crabbier phone but cheaper line rental and benefit from their direct customer service (and i think u get 50 free video minutes a month!)... Orrrr go with someone like E2Save and get a free PSP giga pack and 70 pound cash back but pay more line rental... (around £10.00 more per month..)

oooh the endless possibilities are it alllllllllllllll...........And to think that once upon a time it was said that alls I talk about it mobile phones!... There must be a personality somewhere inside me... (I know what your thinking.. and stop... Stop now!)

Byyyy the way... I go on holiday in less than 2 weeks... Gonna go shopping for some pretty bits tomorrow! Will let you know what I purchase! :-)

Donna is officially pregnant and is complete with mini donut bump! I do like a good pregnancy to follow... I become all stalkerish and suchlike... Donna, you better make sure over the next few months, u have no fluff in your belly button, cos im gonna be asking you to whip it out left right and centre!! (you will be allowed after 7 months to tell me to fuck off and die as my big lil sister did... I dont think she was feelin too bloomin... bloomin awful I think was her statement...)

What a long title... What a long time since I last wrote... What a life..!!

Im ever so sleepy lately.. I have een working lates this week and im ever so tired!! Needed to get a few things sorted over this week and not quite sure how things are going to be working out at the moment (will post later on if I need to mention this again....) but I could really do with just a good old fashioned day spent in bed been fed grapes and whatnot! (offers via email please!) I go on holiday in less than three weeks now... Got to say that I am getting quite excited! Annnnd, Courtesy of Jasey pie and Sexy Sue, I have managed to kidnap some extremely strong sleeping tablets for the flights... Its not worth getting myself in a mess about all over again now is it! (im gonna die die dieeeeeee) erm.. yeah.. Much better to be doped up all the way I think.. As the aeroplane is plummeting to the ground, Ill be the one asking for people to shhhh so I can go back boo boos... :-)

Me and Richard have managed to save well for our holiday.. Am really surprised that I have been so useless with money in the past but so good with it now.. Managing to save around 500-700 pound between us a month at the moment.. Thats not bad going by anyones standards I dont think... (Unless your name is Mr Branson) .. Only trouble been that we like our holidays too much so no sooner have we saved a couple of grand, than we are off spending it again on sunnier places than the shite hole we like to call home!

Currently, in Muscat, it is 10.30pm and is 80 degrees faranhite... Thats pretty warm int it.. Think Im gonna be going out in my shorts at night.. They can whistle if they think that Im going to be sporting shoes and trousers for their posh meals... I dont care if people look at me like Im a hillbilly... It happens to me all the time anyway!

From the above, we will be staying in the Al Bandar... Trip advisor reviews are getting better and better on the place and its all built now.. complete with lazy river that you can float on that goes through 2 of the hotels!! :-)

Right, Im going to be off... Im really boring lately aint I? I think Im getting old... and saggy... and boring... and dull.... a big fat hairy dull gay!? Surely not! :-P
